Day 1: Amboseli National park
On Arrival at JKIA international airport, you will be met by our representative and briefed on your safari. After depart and drive south to Amboseli National Park via Nairobi. Game viewing en route with the immense grandeur of Mt Kilimanjaro in the background. Lunch at Amboseli Serena Safari lodge. Afternoon at leisure. Enjoy an evening game drive. Amboseli National Park, at the foot of Africa’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro, is one of the most popular of Kenya’s national parks. Amboseli National Park provides the classic Hollywood image of Africa. Set in rolling Savannah scenery it is dwarfed by the presence of the pink-tinged, snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro. Against this magnificent backdrop roam vast herds of elephant accompanied by a lion, buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, baboon, gazelle hippo, and wildebeest. There are also over 400 species of birds, all manner of reptilian, flora, and fauna. All meals and overnight will be at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge.
Day 2: Amboseli National park
Another exciting day in Amboseli National Park, we recommend that you get up early morning where one can experience excellent game viewing & an unprecedented view of the snowcapped Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to your camp for breakfast. You may opt for an additional game drive after breakfast to visit the swamp with its magnificent wildlife present all day long or simply relax at your camp and take in the African wilderness. Afternoon game drives in anticipation of seeing the “BIG FIVE”. All meals and overnight at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge.
Day 3: Lake Naivasha
Have breakfast at the lodge. Depart and drive towards Lake Naivasha. Arrival in time for lunch and check-in at Enashipai Spa and Resort. In the afternoon you have an option to enjoy a boat ride to see the Hippos in this freshwater lake and visit the Crescent Island. This sanctuary hosts Herbivores like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, and Hippo. Dinner and overnight at Enashipai Spa and resort.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park
Have breakfast at the resort. Depart and drive towards the Great Rift Valley viewing scenery having a stopover at the viewpoint en-route arriving at the Pink Lake often referred so due to its great masses of flamingos. Check-in at The Cliff Nakuru, have lunch, and after lunch proceed for a game drive in Lake Nakuru National park with numerous animals. During the game drive, you will see the huge numbers of flamingos that are concentrated along the lakeshore. In addition to the birdlife for which Lake Nakuru is so well known for, there are many different wildlife species in the park including lion, leopard, Black rhino, White rhino, buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffe, zebra, impala, and waterbuck. All meals and overnight at The Cliff Nakuru or equivalent.
5: Masai Mara National Reserve
Have an early breakfast. Depart for Masai Mara Game Reserve, which is on the south along the floor of the great rift valley then past Narok climb the western wall entering Hemingway’s country ”Serengeti plains”. Arrive in time for lunch at Entim Mara luxury tented camp. Afternoon enjoys a game drive in this famous reserve. Dinner and overnight at Entim Mara luxury tented camp.
Day 6: Masai Mara National Reserve
Full day at this famous reserve searching for wild game with an option to enjoy a balloon safari. You can carry a picnic lunch or have lunch at the camp. Visit Masai villages are also an option.
The Mara is the land of African legend: Lion is abundant throughout the park, as are the elephants, giraffes, and a variety of gazelle species and zebra. Cheetah and leopard are also regularly seen and, less commonly, rhino. The annual wildebeest migration, one of nature’s few remaining wildlife spectacles, occurs in the Mara from July to September where the big animals and their predators are to be present in abundance during the time frame of this trip. Several species of Bee-Eater, the flying rainbow that heads the list of Mara’s birds, occur in the reserve. As well as wildlife, the Masai Mara is also home to many members of the colorful Masai tribe who may be seen around the borders of the park – Morans. Return to the luxury camp in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Entim Mara.
Day 7: Nairobi/Departure
Have breakfast at the luxury camp. Depart for Nairobi with game drive en-route. A stop is provided at Narok Town the Masai city where you can buy handicrafts and souvenirs.
On arrival have lunch in Nairobi at one of the city hotels later do last minute shopping at one of the markets. After shopping transfer to the airport to arrive in time for your international final departure, where your safari ends.
