About Outpost Lodge
This is one of those few properties rich in history. In fact, the main house of our lodge was home for Bernhard Klemens Maria Grzimek, the renowned German zoo director, zoologist, book author, editor, and animal conservationist in postwar West Germany who laid the foundations for the birth of Serengeti National Park.
It isn’t only the leafy residential area located just 20 minutes’ walk from Arusha Centre that makes our lodge unique, but also, our beautiful garden.
